Madhouse Records was founded in 1992 when Dublin-born music industry entrepreneur [a=Mel Medalie] met [a=Kerri Chandler] at [a=Todd Terry]'s studio in Brooklyn. The label became an outlet for Kerri’s music, as well as tracks from his producer friends, with the first release, [m=50314], selling more than 100,000 copies on vinyl alone. The singles and EPs that followed were mostly produced, co-produced or remixed by Kerri. Parent company [l=Madhouse Records, Inc.] was dissolved in 1997 but the label continued with distribution via New York-
